Abdus-Salaam, a revert from New York City, possesses over 15 years of experience in teaching and Islam in colleges, masajid, and online. He has a 2-year Arabic Diploma and a BA in Shari’ah from Umm al-Quraa University, Makkah al-Mukarramah. Among his teachers were/are: Sh. Muhammad Ali Adam al-Ityubi, Sh. Yahya al-Mudarris, Sh. Ali b. Zayd al-Madkhali, Sh. Sami Suqayr, Sh. Abdus-Salaam ash-Shuway’ir, and many more غفر الله لهم. Brother Abdus-Salaam has received recommendation letters (tazkiyyah) from scholars such as: Sh. Waseeullah Abbas, Sh. Abdullah Muhammad an-Najmi, Sh. Khalid al-Mushayqih, and others حفظهم الله, and he holds ijazat (chains of narration) in numerous texts, with highest chains of transmission. He takes pleasure in teaching and simplifying complex concepts, highlighting to Muslims the beauty of seeking knowledge in Islam.
