Fiqh 101: Book of Purification! (UQU Mahad Curriculum)

Welcome to Fiqh 101: Book of Purification!

This is a beginner fiqh course that is based on the curriculum taught in Umm al-Quraa University’s 2-year Arabic language institute (Ma’had).

The fiqh curriculum taught in this Ma’had is based on three books in the Hanbali Madhhab:

-al-‘Uddah
-Hidaayah ar-Raaghib explanation of ‘Umdatul Taalib
-Zaad al-Mustaqni’

Topics:
-Introduction (Definition of Fiqh, Rulings, Sources, Rulings, Reasons for Different ‘Schools of Thought’, Brief Biography of the 4 Imaams)
-Tahaarah
-Water and its types
-Najaasah and its types
-Utensils, Pots, etc.
-Istinjaa & Istijmaar
-Menstruation and Postnatal Bleeding
-Siwak and Acts of Natural Disposition (Fitrah)
-Wudoo (Obligations, Recommended Acts, Conditions, Description, Nullifiers)
-Ghusl
-Mash (Rulings pertaining to wiping over Khuffs, Socks, Shoes, Casts, etc.)
-Tayammum

Classes are taught live via the Zoom application. We will have a discussion group on the Telegram app in order for students to connect with the instructor. Once you fill out the registration, you will be added to the group.
