Welcome to Arabic 310: Nahwu (Arabic Grammar) & Arabic 311: Sarf (Morphology)

Course Descriptions:

These are two courses based on the content taught in the third and fourth semesters at the 2-year Arabic language institute at Umm al-Quraa University in Makkah.

Arabic 310 deals with grammar rules and how they are applied in regular speech as well in the Quran. Students will study various grammar rules by analyzing their role in a sentence/verse, examining their connection with other words, as well as an in-depth study of their case endings إعراب.

Arabic 311 deals with the morphology and construction of individual words (verbs and nouns), general meanings contained in different forms, as well principles dealing with changes that occur within the structure of a word. In this course, students will study a famous and basic book on Sarf known as شذا العرف.

These courses are prerequisites for our Alfiyyah ibn Maalik course.

Courses Duration:
Each course comprises of 13 classes

Both courses are ON DEMAND and ready to be viewed right away.

Students also have the choice to follow the course at their own pace.

There will also be separate Telegram groups for males and females in order to discuss course material between students and instructor.
